Policy on Finished and Unfinished Orders
Finished Pottery
We will call or text when your piece is ready for pickup. We aim for the following Saturday but due to being a small, family owned and run business, we may not always be ready by then. Pottery is considered ready when all pieces on the receipt are fired and packed. Please bring your receipt to pick up.
If your piece needs anything additional, we will need another week or so to have them ready for pickup. This includes adding glitter/fake snow, lights, custom work etc.
Finished pieces will be held for 4 weeks after we first call or text you it is ready for pickup (6-7 weeks including standard firing time). We call/text twice about the order before pulling it from the shelf. Pulled orders may not be available for pick up and we will not offer refunds for pulled orders.
Our call/text schedule is as follows:
First Call/Text - Day the order is packed
Second Call/Text - 2 weeks after first call/text
Pulled From Shelf - 2 weeks after the second call/text (4 weeks after original call/text).
If there is a problem with your order, we will call you to sort it out. This will not count as the first call.
If you did not indicate on your receipt if you prefer to be called or receive a text, we will text you by default. If you prefer to get phone calls, please indicate on your receipt. If you have not gotten a call or text within 2 weeks, check your messages or voicemail before calling us. We will always leave a voicemail unless unable due to circumstances such as a full mailbox. We are not responsible for pottery being left at the shop due to missing our calls or texts.
Please let us know if you need an extension for pickup. We will accommodate any extension within reason.
Unfinished Pottery
If you must leave and are not yet finished painting your piece, you may take it home and bring it back another day or leave it at the shop. There will be no additional charge for either option. We may refuse to keep pieces at the shop if we have no room to store them. Any piece left at the shop for 2 months with no attempts to continue work will be removed from the shelf and no refunds will be given.
We are not responsible for any pieces taken home. We are not responsible for any imperfections on finished pieces that were taken home. We will not refund or replace any pieces broken at home. When you bring the piece back, you must show a copy of your receipt to prove the piece has been purchased from us. If we cannot confirm the purchase, a charge of $10 will be needed to fire the piece.
